My latest article, "Why Exercise is Important for an Autistic Child: The Unique Benefits of a Fitness Program", explores the importance of instituting a fitness program for an autistic child. In spite of the challenges of engaging autistic children in physical activities, they stand to benefit from them in ways that address their specific deficits.
