Updates on Mental wellness website and relationship workshop

Dear everyone:

It has been a busy year for me thus far. In the upcoming months, I will be showcasing the water color paintings of Sebastien, my autistic son and sharing more about his work and what it represents.

In the meantime, I am pleased to announce that the Website on youth mental wellness that I have been working on under the auspices of the Whole Tree Foundation (in Singapore) is finally ready! Do check it out!

1. Website on youth mental wellness: overtherainbow.sg

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Yen-Lu and Yee Ling Chow (founders of the Whole Tree Foundation) on the Website of the OvertheRainbow initiative to bring attention to the importance of youth mental wellness. After losing Lawrance, their son, to bipolar disorder (manic depression), Yen-Lu and Yee Ling embarked on various worthy projects dedicated to the promotion of the well-being of children and young people both in Singapore and Asia.

Collaborating closely with them, I helped to conceptualise much of the content of this Website. Apart from addressing the challenges of mood disorders and identifying helpful approaches to cope with depression and manic depression for youths with these conditions and their caregivers, we have compiled wellness strategies that are useful for everyone. While you learn how to take good of your physical and mental health, also open your mind and heart to those who are struggling with mood disorders.

Please share this worthy website with others.

2. Relationship Workshop with Roger Curtis from Momentum Australia Training.

My good friend, Roger (based in Australia), is conducting a relationships workshop in Singapore. If you are interested, please read the info from him below:

Since 1995, Roger and Jan have trained extensively in Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual modalities. They have combined the work of Quantum Physicist Bruce Lipton, Candice Pert, and Phoenix Rising Australia with an age old philosophy enabling a working insight into the “The cycles of Relationships”. Learning about this cycle can help to improve your relationships in your personal and professional lives.
