An inspirational talk on manic-depression, autism, and "A Mother's Wish" with mini exhibition of art by artist with autism

Dear everyone:

For those of you who have been touched and inspired by the story of my life with Sebastien, my autistic son, featured on Channel 8’s Joy Truck series (episode found here) in July, I would like to invite you to be a special event that combines:

1) an inspirational talk about my experiences of overcoming manic depression and how motherhood, in particular the raising of Sebastien, my autistic son, challenged me to turn my life around; with

2) a mini art exhibition of Sebastien's paintings.

I am most grateful to Armour Publishing, publisher of my book, Five Little White Pills... And Then There Were None, for taking a leap of faith in organising this event to promote the memoir of my transformative life journey, while incorporating a Sebastien's "Raw Art" and "A Mother's Wish" campaign into the programme. This campaign endeavours to establish a long-term community that will provide affordable quality programmes for individuals with intellectual disabilities like Sebastien even after their primary caregivers have passed on. Sebastien's paintings and all of my books will be available for sale: 30% of painting sales and 70% of picture book sales go towards "A Mother's Wish" fund.

Whether you just want to show your support, or are intrigued by how I have managed to sustain my medication-free life for the last eight years, please come along, and invite friends and family to accompany you for this special event (see outline below).
